President Becky calls the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Becky requests minutes to be reviewed. A motion by Bruce Erickson to accept the minutes as written, with a second by Bob Norton. Motion passes.

Pres. Becky gives an update on the prices for tents including logos, banners. Clocks have been ordered for the tournaments. Generic Business Cards have been ordered. Radios will be researched by Jeff for the golf tournaments.

Jeff and Benjie will get together to finalize the golf tournaments for the upcoming year and prior to the Spring Meeting held on the 16th of April. The AGC has been reserved for that day along with the use of an adjoining room for the rules clinic to be held. Ron Reed from USGA, will also be attending the Spring Meeting and will be putting on the Rules Clinic with help from Jamie.

Golf Swap-Jason received money from Lazy/Boy to be used in ads, posters and live remote from a specific radio station. Radio ads will start 3 days prior to the golf swap and 2hrs live remote at the University Center the day of the Golf Swap.



Jeff has asked GCI to sponsor some events for AGA. Along with Avis Car Rental for member discounts for any rentals. NANA has given the membership discounts on all their hotels around the State. Rates for Fairbanks will be to any AGA , $99 for the summer rates and $79 for winter rates.



It is recommended that the City Tournament be turned over to AGC and the AGA would help promote this tournament. There is interest in going to Soldotna for a golf tournament sometime this Spring or Summer which would include Kenai. Jeff will look into this further.

Jeff has a goal that all players will either have a jacket or shirt presented to them for any tournament they sign up for which will have a logo of AGA along with our sponsor for that tournament.



Becky discussed MaryAnn’s salary which would begin on May 1, 2011 and end on September 30, 2011. Discussion on office hours. Board would like to see a plan for hours.



Jeff discussed Juneau and their trials on their new computers that already included the GHIN program.

Paul gave an update on the surveys and when they would be e-blasted to the membership.
